Submission Instructions for the Elkins Professorship
Nomination Process
Nominee should submit an unbound package containing the following original,
single-sided, unnumbered documents by
March 1st to:

The package should include:
- Brief current curriculum vita, signed and dated.
- One-page narrative indicating how nominee’s accomplishments
exemplify the excellence of an endowed professorship.
- Proposal (not to exceed two pages) describing project(s) to be undertaken
or facilitated during Professorship year and that delineates prospective outcomes.
- One-page budget narrative indicating how funds would be used. Budget
NTE $80,000.
The University may submit ONLY ONE nomination for this award. The University
will prepare a letter of nomination for the selected candidate.
